Because there are so many variations in gutters and roof plumbing it is often necessary to customize our gutter guard and downpipe protection systems. We do this onsite. Once arriving at your property we will explain the best gutter protection options available.

For downpipe and rain-head guards the mesh hole size is a crucial factor. We take care to select the right mesh size for the particular gutter and downpipe type. We can make customized downpipe guards onsite to stop annoying objects from blocking up your roof plumbing. But beware a complete gutter protection cover is normally a better option. Caution must be taken with downpipe guards, once they block water flow can be completely restricted. But in many cases downpipe guards are the only solution, one example is large box gutters with a nearby tennis court. If the openings of your downpipes are greater than 100mm they can be particularly vulnerable to tennis ball blockage, once in the box guttering, tennis balls may gradually roll down towards the downpipes causing huge problems. We have found over 50 tennis balls on a single roof. See our article titled Things we find in gutters.
